Beauvezer

Beauvezer is a common French, located in the department of the Alp-of-High-Provence and the area Provence-Alp-Coast of Azure.

Its inhabitants is called Belvéziens.

Geography

Beauvezer is located at 1200m altitude.

Common bordering: Thorame-Low, Thorame-High, Villars-Colmars, the Colmars-the-Alps.

History

The village initially is built on a hill, then destroyed by a fire in 1728, and rebuilt more close to the the Verdon. It is classified Health resort by the Académie of medicine in 1925.
