Synopsis

Four prostitutes precipitately leave the Saloon where they officiate after one of them had to kill a customer. They then decide to change life: one has a concession, a another pretty amount of money. But they are caught up with by their past…

With Beautiful of the West , the realizer Jonathan Kaplan finds the actress Mary Stuart Masterson whom it had already directed in Immediate Family (1989), like Madeleine Stowe in fatal Obsession (1992).
the production had first of all entrusted the realization of film to Tamra Davis, on a scenario written by Yolande Turner and Becky Johnston, but after a few weeks of turning, the studio not being at all satisfied with the turning which the film took, decided to replace the director, to make rewrite the scenario and to send the four main actors in a camp of cowboys so that they can learn how to draw with the gun and to ride a horse.
