Beautiful as an airport is the second book of the series Dirk Gently, detective holistic of the writer English Douglas Adams, published in France in 2003.

Original work was published in 1988 under the title long The dark tea-time off the drunk . French translation of Jean Rosenthal.

Synopsis

The last customer of Dirk Gently, Geoffrey (or Geoffroy) Anstey, which said themselves threatened by a monster to the green eyes armed with a scythe, is found decapitated in his closed room of the interior.

Kate Schechter is wounded in an explosion with the AƩroport of Heathrow, with London, at the time which the ex-secretary disappeared from Dirk Gently, become receptionist with the airport. This explosion was caused by Thor, the god of the Thunder, which takes along Kate with him towards the Walhalla, for a confrontation with Odin, his/her father.
