Beautiful Zatch

Beautiful Zatch or Konjiki No Gash!! (shortened KnG!! ) (金色のガッシュ!!) in Japan board is a Shōnen manga of Makoto Raiku published in the magazine Shogakukan Shonen Sunday with the Japan and whose writing began in January 2001.
The French publication is ensured by Kana.
A part was declined in 150 episodes of Anime S under the name of Konjiki No Gash Bell!! (金色のガッシュベル!!) product by the studios Toei Animation with the Japan.
The Cartoon was already adapted in:

Summary of the history

In Manga connected, Kiyomaro " Kiyo" Takamine is a 14 year old schoolboy, exceptionally gifted and marginalized by the pupils of its class. It dries the courses constantly because it is too intelligent to attend the children of its age. Until the day of the appearance in its life of Beautiful Zatch ( Beautiful Gash in Japan board), an amnesic child demon and somewhat " kid-facétueux" found by his/her father in a forest English and sent by this last to give Kiyomaro in the right way of its studies and its social life. Kiyomaro gradually remakes heaps of friends and thanks to Zatch, its social life becomes again stable. But n the other hand, Kiyomaro, become owner of the book ordering the fates of Zatch, must help Zatch to find the memory (it does not have any memory of the world of the demons to which it belonged before the thousand-year-old combat opposing 100 demons sent in the world of human to fight and designating the winner as King of the demons) and with becoming the king of the demons, an ambition for which it does not show any other motivation but that not to see, one day, Zatch to disappear for the world from the demons forever; until the day when it meets Kolulu, a mamodo sent in the world of human with a double personality to force it to fight against its will; obliged to burn its book (because its combative personality was too dangerous) and realizing which the world of the mamodo was populated of infinitely cruel beings, sadistic and ambitious, Zatch promises in Kolulu to fight to become a nice king (who would not oblige the mamodo to fight) before it disappears (because the mamodo disappear in the only condition which one burns delivers to them). Thus the true combat of Zatch starts to reach the throne of Mamodo, thus it will meet in its voyage of the friends who will help it and who continue the same ambition as him.

From there, will follow a series of engagements to choose the king of the world of the demons among the 100 children demons sent on Earth (or 101 of with a film left to the Japan which is literally named the 101e demon ).

Characters

Beautiful Zatch (Beautiful Japanese Gash) and Kiyomaro Takamine: main characters.

Suzy (Suzume Mizuno in Japanese): a friend of Kiyo, insane in love with him, it has fun to draw faces on fruits.

Kanchome and Folgore : Friends of Kiyo and Zatch, Kantchome, mamodo with duck face, and Folgore, singer pretentious and appreciated hyper of all the girls.

Tia (Japanese Tio) and Mégumi: friends of Kiyo and Zatch.

Ponygon (Japanese Umagon, which means horse monster): Ponygon was found by Zatch, Kiyo collected it at his place and gave him like name " Ponygon" because of its appearance of pony, unfortunately, Ponygon hardly appreciates this first name because his/her mother had called it " shneider" but it cannot speak, therefore wants some in Kyo to have terribly chosen this first name to him.

Apollo and Rops : friends of Kiyo and Zatch, Apollo can anticipate the least gestures of its adversaries.

Humor

The Humor is very present in this Manga, the graphic charter which the author uses is really astonishing because of his singularity, in certain scenes mimicry of Kiyo and Zatch is really surrealist, which can disconcert at the beginning but quickly become amusing.

The name

The name of Zatch Bell is different from the Japanese name Konjiki No Gash Bell!! (金色のガッシュ!!) at the request of the Japanese editor Shogakukan, to standardize the series. Thus it takes again the name of the American version animated, first version except Japan. For the same reasons, certain characters saw their name changing compared to the manga original Japanese (Gash/Zatch)
