Beautiful Expo science

The expo science Bell is a scientific competition Québécois for the young people from 12 to 20 years sponsored by Bell Canada, the Conseil of development of the scientific leisure and the councils of the regional scientific leisure. Each year, gaining them of the Québécois finale are automatically acceptable with the Expo international science.

To be accepted, a project must comply with the following rules:

  • they must touch with a field of the Science (certain subjects in Social science and a para science are also accepted)
  • they must be realized by the young people (there is nevertheless the possibility of having a light help of an organization and/or a research center)
  • they must éthiquement correct and do not represent any danger to whoever

The categories of projects are:

  • Life sciences
  • Sciences of Physical
  • Mathematical
  • Engineering and data-processing health
  • Sciences of the ground and the environment
  • Biotechnologies
  • Social sciences

The projects are divided into three types:

  • popularization (explanation of concept in fundamental science)
  • experimentation
  • design (construction of Software or Machinery)

Gaining Québécois final 2006 was Mylène Roy and Maxime Lelièvre for their project entitled the Garden of Kyoto
