Beauronne (Lick Them)

The Beauronne (in Occitan Beurona ) is a French brook of the department of the the Dordogne, affluent of the Isle.
Its name, contraction of bebros or beber indicating the beaver and of onna representing the course of eau , is of Celtic origin.
Bebro (N) Na thus means “the river of the beavers”.
Geography
It takes its source on the commune of Church-New-in Issac, sprinkles Lick Them and joined Isle out of left bank in the west of Mussidan.
It should not be confused with two other rivers of the same name, also affluents of Isle and also located in the Dordogne:
