Beaucouzé is a common French, located in the department of Maine-et-Loire and the area Pays of the Loire.

Geography

Located at the west of Angers, she knows an important demographic expansion, in particular thanks to her attraction and her proximity with Angers.

Economy

Beaucouzé plays an essential economic part in the suburbs angevine, because of presence of a very important Industrial Park.

The city is known to acueillir the INRA of Angers.

Places and monuments

It includes/understands three schools: Jacques Prévert, Maurice Ravel (public schools) and St Etienne (private school).

The street of Mancharderie is most main street of the city. It is known for its ceaseless turns, which make circulation particularly delicate.

It is Couzé, a pond located within a splendid and green framework which gave its name to the commune.

Football

The football club of the city is called Sporting Club of Beaucouzé. The colors of the club are: white shirt, red shorts and low white. The municipal stage is the Stage Jacques Aubineau, in homage to the founder of the club, created in 1965.

The flag team currently plays in DSR (Regional Higher Division), the second division at the regional level. The 18ans, 15ans and 13ans are also with the doors of the regional championship. The SC Beaucouzé gained its first trophy in 2005. Beaucouzé (DSR) then was essential vis-a-vis Beaufort-in-Valley (DRH) finally of the Cut of Anjou: final score 1-1, then victory with the shootings with the goals. Beaucouzé was also illustrated in Coupe de France by reaching the seventh turn at the time of season 96-97 before being eliminated by Trélissac, club of National, on the score from 3 to 0.

Association the patat' ki' roul'… organizes a festival there every year.

Since several years the Festival of the Music brought together more and more spectators with beaucouzéens groups as much as possible, like Kamikazz Glandeur' S or The Next Level as well as the school of the Music twinned with Montreuil-Juigné.
