Beaubreuil

Beaubreuil is the largest district external of Limoges (it is completely separated from Limoges by the Wood of the Country house).

Situation

It is located at the north of the city, separated from:

  • the Northern Industrial Park and of the wood of the Country house by the highway has 20 Occitane,

  • of the meadows and wood of the Juillac locality and the Technopôle Ester by the RD 142, which joint Limoges (precisely the Gare of the Benedictines) with the locality " Bardys".

Buildings

The district of Beaubreuil consists of bars of buildings, lottissements suburban and municipal and commercial equipment.

  • In the North-East (High and Small Mazelle), and in the south (Homérides,…) are the suburban lottissements.

  • In the center and the North-West, bars of buildings. The two principal arteries of district HLM are the street the Rhine-and-Danube and the street Fabre-with Eglantine.
  • In the west is located the shopping mall Cora, which gathers other signs within the shopping mall " Coupole" : Conforama, Norauto, the Market with the Shoes,…

One also finds:

  • the municipal arts center Jean Moulin, with very strange architecture, moreover located at the edge of the highway.
  • the swimming pool Jean Montalat.
  • the water tower, obvious benchmark.
  • the gymnasium of Small Beaubreuil, near the water tower, where Racing Limoges Judo proposes meetings of judo. www.rlj87.com
  • the Factory of incineration, with the double black and red chimney.
  • the Library of Beaubreuil which depends on the network of the public libraries of Limoges (network BFM).
  • the church St Martial de Beaubreuil (42 rue des Sagnes), construction going back to 1981.

Access

The access to Beaubreuil is facilitated by the highway A20, the presence of many secondary road axes and the good service road of bus, in particular the line 10 which curves in the district before going down towards Limoges downtown area.
