Beatrice of Bar (- 1076)

Beatrice of Bar , died in 1076, was by its successive marriages, marchioness of Tuscany, then basic duchess Lotharingie. She was the girl junior by Frederic II of Lorraine, duke of High-Lotharingie and count de Bar and of Mathilde de Souabe.
With died of his/her brother Frederic III, his aunt Gisele de Souabe, married with the Germanic emperor Conrad II, collected it like his/her older sister Sophie.
In 1037, it was married with faithful of the emperor, Boniface III of Tuscany (v. 985 † 1052), marquis de Toscane. They had:
- Beatrice († 1053)
- Boniface IV († 1055), marquis de Toscane
- Mathilde († 1115), marchioness of Tuscany, married in 1071 with Godefroy III '' Bearded the '', duke of Low-Lotharingie, then in 1089 with Welf IV, duke of Bavaria.
Boniface III having been assassinated in 1052, it is regent of the states of her husband in the name of his son, but, after the death of this one and from his/her Béatrice oldest daughter, withdraws in Low-Lotharingie. In 1054, it marries his/her cousin Godefroy II († 1069), duke of Low-Lotharingie, without the assent of the emperor Henri III. Godefroy II was several times revolted in the past.
Henri III removes Béatrice and his Mathilde daughter to assign them with residence. After the death of Godefroy, Béatrice returns in Toscane, where it supports the Pape Gregoire VII and the assistance to fight against the Sarrasin S and the Normand S.
