Beatrice Thiriet

Béatrice Thiriet (born in Paris on May 4th 1960) is a French compositrice.

Biography

Béatrice Thiriet discovers, very early, her passion for the music. Formed with the academy of Versailles by Jean Aubain and Solange Anconnat, it moves towards the composition and the musical analysis. In parallel, its training of pianist is marked by the meeting with Mikhaïl Rudy . Its musical vocation, an attraction for the writing and its interest for the theater and the cinema very quickly conduirent it to be directed towards the incidental music. The opera and the film music, are its fields of predilection.

It receives in 2001 the price Nadia and Lili Boulanger with the Académie of the Art schools for the creation of its opera of Room: “New Stories of It”.

Discovered with the cinema by Pascale Ferran, she writes the music of Petits Arrangements with deaths in 1993, of the Age of possible the in 1994, and of Lady Chatterley (film) in 2006. She works with many realizers and directors, with the cinema and on television: Dominique Will pull up, Jacques Deschamps, Radu Miailheanu, Joel Farges, Marc Esposito, Pierre Javaux, Xavier Durringer, Eyal Sivan.

Critical musical, she collaborated in the emission of France Musique the “Paving stone in the pond”. In November 2007 she proposes each Wednesday an emission on traditional radio " WOMEN DE MUSIQUE"

She carried out two courses measurings Portrait of letters with Chœurs and the letter of Mourad with France 2 and Mezzo.

She is also the author of the text and the music of a multi-media work intended for the children: “Bee and Bop” for the Quoted of the Music and Sony.
