Bead of the East
The Perle of the East (东方明珠电视塔) is a Tour of Télévision located at Shanghai in Popular republic of China. It is located in the district of businesses of Lujiazui in the district of Pudong close to the river Huangpu, vis-a-vis the Bund on other bank. Drawn by the Architect Jia Huan Cheng, its construction began in 1991. It was inaugurated in May 1995, then constituting one of the first achievements prestigious of the district.
Measuring 468 m height, it appears among the highest round the world tours.
Often compared with a giant Cup-and-ball, it includes/understands three principal spheres of different sizes. Two of them have a diameter of more than 45 and 50 meters while highest a diameter that of 14 meters does not have.
The tower has terraces of observations to 263 and 350 m of altitude as well as rotary panoramic restaurant located at 267 Mr. The building ends in an aerial.
The tower receives 3 million visitors each year.
