Beach clouded

China Beach is a American Televised series in two 90 minutes episodes and 60 50 minutes episodes, created by John Sacret Young and William Broyles Jr. and diffused between the April 26th 1988 and the July 22nd 1991 on the network ABC. In France, the series was diffused starting from the January 23rd 1990 on the Five.

Synopsis

This series puts in scene the life of the women, civil or military, present on the face during the Guerre of Vietnam, in a camp called China Beach .

Inspired by M*A*S*H and authentic testimonys received from women having lived this war, the series, passed unperceived to France, knew on the other side of the Atlantic one big hit.

The realization is remarkable by its originality, integral animated sequences or alternating scenes of fiction and interviews of nurses having really taken part in the conflict.

Most of the team of the scenario writers and producers will contribute later to the creation of Urgences .

It should be noted that Clouded Beach and the Hell of the duty are the only American series which were interested in the war of Vietnam.
