Be worth-Marquenneville is a common French, located in the department of the Somme and the area Picardy.

Geography

Be worth is crossed Southern with the Northern by the secondary Road 93 " RD 93" between Oisemont and Frucourt (direction Abbeville), and South-east in the North-West by the " RD 53 E" coming from Neuville-with-Wood (direction Airaines) and the road of Fresnes-Tilloloy.

As its name indicates it, the village of Vaux is located in a small valley. That of Marquenneville is on the other hand established on a ground much flatter.

Town planning

The Village fact left the common of the Arrondissement of Abbeville

History

Until 1789, the common depended on the Royaume of France.

- 1790 comes management by the department from the Somme.

- 1793 (Year II), the commune always names Vaux, then integrates the Districts Abbeville and the canton of Saint-Maxent

- Towards 1801, becomes municipality of Are worth-Marquenneville (registered with the Bulletin of the Laws of 1801), this is due following fusion with the village close to Marquenneville, integrates the canton of Hallencourt and belonged to the Arrondissements of Abbeville.
