Bay of the Attack
Called Herald Bay in English, the bay of the Attack is a bay Australia nne located inside the Golfe of the Indian Ocean which one calls Baie Shark, on the coast western of the Western Australia. Formed by the north-eastern littoral of the Peninsula Péron, it by doing this occupies the North-West of the vast opening called Havre Hamelin. Named by the forwarding towards the Southern Lands of the French Nicolas Baudin following an attack by the Indigenous of Australia which pushed back Jacques de Saint-Cricq, it was formally charted by Pierre Faure and Charles Moreau at the end of the month of August 1801.
