Bay of Quiberon
The bay of Quiberon is located on the southern part of the Département of Morbihan in Brittany (France): the bay is delimited in the West by the peninsula of Quiberon, in the South by the roadway of Beniguet as by are islands of Houat and Hoëdic.
The bay of Quiberon is a zone sheltered particularly well winds and swell broad which is in the area mainly of Western sector.
The existence of many destinations of cruising all around the bay (Belle-Ile, the Gulf of Morbihan, Houat, Hoëdic,…) the rise of the marinas of the area supported: Port-Haliguen, Crouesty, the Trinité-sur-Mer.
The bay of Quiberon is one of the high places of the regatta in France.
To enter bay of Quiberon while coming from the South or the West, it is necessary to borrow one of the passages which cuts the roadway of high funds which extends from the Southern point of the peninsula from Quiberon until Hoëdic. By heavy weather or situation of fresh wind against current, it is recommended to borrow the passage of Teignouse announced by the headlight éponyme.
