Bay of Avatcha
The bay of Avatcha (in Russian Авачинскаябухта) is a bay located at the south-east of the peninsula of the Kamchatka, in Russia. The bay owes its name with the Avatcha volcano. Long of 24 kilometer, it is broad with its opening of 3km. The maximum depth is of 26 meters.
The river Avacha is thrown in bay. The port city of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and the closed city of Vilyuchinsk are on bay.
