Bauto
Flavius Bauto was a Roman general of franque origin .
He supported the emperors Gratien then Valentinien II with died of this last, and becomes Consul in 385.
Bauto joins with the usurper Maxime when this one seizes Italy into 387 and in Valentinien hunting.
He is the father of the empress Eudoxie, who will marry the emperor Arcadius in April 395. Bauto will not attend the marriage, being deceased in 394.
