Battle of the fields of Pelennor

The battles of the fields of Pelennor is a fictitious battle in the Lord of the Rings of J.R.R. Tolkien.

Course of the battle

Sauron sent a massive army of Orque S with an aim of finishing some with the Gondor. The Orcs, having taken the Eastern bank, then Western of Osgiliath, rebuilt a bridge of fortune which enabled them to make cross all their weapons of seat. They then started to besiege Rowed it Echor, wall built in order to protect Pelennor and its farms as well as the city of Undermined Tirith. In their hatred of the men, they started to destroy the wall. Then they penetrated in Pelennor, burning the farms and the fields. They then started to ram the walls of the city, and the men of Gondor could neither counteract with similar weapons nor to reach them because they had trenched their out of reach arcs. The Nazgûl went down on the city, filling up terror the defenders, pushing them to stop fighting, to crawl, to hide and die. The Broyeur ram smashed the Large Door of the city, and the King-Wizard of Angmar entered on its mounting. Only Gandalf could hold head to him.

That left time to the Rohirrim to go down from the forgotten paths of Halifirien, guided by the Drúedain. They crossed the door little kept by the Orcs, then charged the forces piled up in front of the wall. They were joined by the cavalry gondorienne and the knights of Dol Amroth, carried out by Imrahil. They filled the ditches with Orcs and pushed in fires the immondes machines of Sauron. They thus overcame the enemy forces with the foot of the walls but of other forces fraiches arrived of Osgiliath: orcs, but also of the wild men of Harad and Khand, thus qus of the Eastern ones. Théoden and its guard ran up against them. Then arrived the Mumâkils of Harad, surmounted their turns of war, and they made devastations in the rows of Rohirrim. Whereas it seemed that the wind turned and that the Orcs fled, appeared on its winged dispach rider the King Sorcier. Nivacrin (the horse of Théoden), insane of terror, was transpierced of a black feature and Théoden was crushed under him. Éowyn, under the features of Dernhelm, killed the dispach rider of the Nazgûl and faced it in singular combat. Stabbed in the leg by Meriadoc Brandebouc, it was overcome by Éowyn.

Whereas any hope seemed lost, because the wind of the south brought a fleet of ships to the black veils, Éomer, become King, launched out in a mortal fights against the arrived forces of Osgiliath. The ship of head deployed deployed its true standard, that of King de Gondor. Ships left Aragorn, Gimli and Legolas, with the head of the armies of the Lebennin, of Dol Amroth, Ethir and the Strongholds of the South. The armies of Mordor, taken between the hammer and the anvil, were overcome after a hard day of battle.
