Battle of the Marne

There were two battles of the Marne , both during the First World War. However, the name refers in general to the first, which took place in 1914; the Second battle of the Marne, as for it, was held in 1918

• First battle of the Marne : from September 5th, 1914 to September 12th, 1914

• Second battle of the Marne : from May 27th, 1918 to August 6th, 1918
