Battle of Vesuvius (553)

The battles of the Vesuvius or battles of the mount Lactarius ( Mons Lactarius ) which was held with the foot of the volcano made following the Bataille of Tadinae. This battle which lasted two days concludes by a defeat from the forces from the new chief Ostrogoths Teïas vis-a-vis the forces Byzantine from the general Narsès. This battle put an end to the domination Goths on the Italy.
