Battle of Vado
naval Battle delivered on September 1st 1638, during the War Thirty Year old (1618 - 1648).
The last great engagement of galère S in the Mediterranean, it saw the victory in the Golfe of Vado, with broad of Genoa, of the Escadre French of the marquis of Bridge-Courlay, made up of fifteen buildings, over that of appreciably equal force of the Admiral Spanish Rodrigo Gutierez Velasco. This last was killed during the confrontation.
