The battles of Turckheim opposes the January 5th 1675 Frederic Guillaume, voter of Brandebourg ordering an army austro - Brandenburger, with the marshal of Turenne, ordering a French Army.
The strategy adopted by Turenne surprises the enemy, by attacking it since the the Vosges. After having taken information on the situation of the enemy during several weeks, Turenne makes pass its army by the mountain to go down on Turckein.
There it makes a success of its more nice success, inflicting a defeat cuisante with the enemy, with taken of a combat relatively not very fatal (300 killed Brandenburgers).
