Battle of Solebay

The battles naval of Solebay took place the June 7th 1672 it was the first battle of the Guerre of Holland. A fleet of 75 ships of the United Provinces, ordered by the admiral Michiel de Ruyter, Willem Joseph of Ghent and Adriaen Banckert surprises the Franco-English, strong fleet of 93 vessels, which was with the anchor with Solebay, (Suffolk) on the east coast of England.
