Battle of Sehested

The battles of Sehested took place the December 13rd 1813 between the Prince of Frederic of Hesse and the Général Walmoden ordering a detachment of the Armée with North of Bernadotte.

The prince of Hesse, combined Napoleon not having betrayed yet, tries to return to the Denmark with the troops which remain to him, approximately 9  000 men and 34 guns. On its way, it crosses an army corps Russo - German pertaining to the Army of the North of Bernadotte. This army corps undergoes one cooking failure before letting become prince de Hesse who will join Denmark without another fixing.
