Battle of News-Georgia
The battles of News-Georgia is a battle of the Second world war in the theater of operations of the Pacific Ocean, during which the American Marines conquered the island of the News-Georgia in the the Solomon Islands.
The operation, which follows few months the end of the countryside of Guadalcanal, mark the beginning of the second phase of the Campagne of the Solomon Islands.
