Battle of Naseby
The battles of Naseby is the key battle of the First English revolution. The June 14th 1645, the Infanterie of the army of Charles Ier of England under the orders of the Prince Rupert is destroyed by that of the Parliamentarian S , the New Model Army, is directed by Thomas Fairfax. The king lost there also his Artillerie but it was necessary for him to await the Battle of Rowton Heath, in front of Chester (September 24th, 1645), for the suppression of its Cavalerie.
