Battle of Guetaria
The battles of Guetaria is a naval Bataille delivered the August 22nd 1638 to broad of Guetaria, in Spain, during the Guerre Thirty Year old.
A French squadron, under the command of Henri d' Escoubleau de Sourdis, lieutenant-general of the naval armies, demolishes there the Spanish fleet of Lopez of Hoces, made up of 12 Galion S, moored on line at the entry of the port. Sourdis launches an attack of Brûlot S which sets fire to 11 of the enemy ships.
