Battle of Conquereuil
Conquereuil is a city located at 58 kilometers in the north of Nantes. Two battles proceeded there:
The first battle took place in 981 and opposed the army of the count de Nantes Hoël Ier of Brittany, duke of Brittany in title, with that of the count de Rennes Conan Ier of Brittany for control of the duchy. The exit of this battle remained dubious and did not put fine at the conflict which opposed the two lords.
The second battle proceeded the June 27th 992. The count of Anjou Foulques III, supported by the Nantes ones, there demolished and killed same Conan Ier of Brittany, duke of Brittany since 990, supported by the count of Blois and the Norman ones.
