Battle of Bovianum
The Bataille of Bovianum took place in 305 av. J. - C. (or 304) between Rome and the Samnites. The Romans were carried out by two Consul S, Curvus Paetinus and Postumius Megellus. The general samnite Statius Gellius, who led the defense of the city, died during the battle. The Roman victory led at the end of the Second war samnite.
