Bataville

Bataville is the name given to a single industrial whole in the Moselle in the area Lorraine (France), built as from 1931 for the account of Thomas Bata (1876-1932), founder of the famous mark of shoes Bata.

Although completely autonomous (the working Quoted including/understanding trade, schools, swimming pool, church), the city is located in skirt of forest on the territory of the communes of Moussey, Maizières-lès-Vic and Réchicourt-the-Castle, in full heart of the Pays of the ponds.

Since July 2001, the Bata activity entirely ceased in Bataville. The logistic platform of Bata left the site at the end of 2006.

From now on a company independent of manufacture of isothermal boots remains the only activity on site.
