Bastie d\' Urfé
The Bastie d' Urfé is a castle of the Forez (the Loire), opened with the visitors. It is the place of estival spectacles within the frameworks of the Nuits of Bastie . He was inhabited formerly by Honore d' Urfé, author of Astrée.
Set up at the 15th century, the building at the origin of medieval style was transformed thereafter by Claude of Drill (1501-1558), in jewels of the Italian and French Rebirth.
Saved ruin in 1909 by the Historical and Archaeological Company of Drill, the Diana, it is classified Historic building since 1912.
