Bass player
In popular Music, one or a bass player is a Musicien instrumentalist playing of the low Guitare. In Classical music, a bass player is generally a playing musician of the Contrebasse.

Traditional role of the bass player in a group
The bass player constitutes the harmonic spinal column of the pieces played by the group. In duet with the beater, they ensure rhythmic cohesion. Technique of low guitar
The bass player can play of low with his fingers or by using a Médiator. The low is also used as a percussif instrument if the battery is absent.

Slap : This technique consists in striking the serious cords with the inch, and drawing the acute cords with the index or the major one. These techniques are used mainly in the Funk, the Rock, the Jazz rock'n'roll, the fusion and the musics experimental.
