Results of the tests of Basketball to the Olympic Games of summer of 1976 with Montreal.
Since the introduction of the Basketball to the Olympic Games, in 1936, the United States gained each time the gold medal. Finally to Munich, vis-a-vis the USSR, the Americans lead 50-49 to the final whistle. An idle period was however required; three seconds should again be played, which is enough in the USSR to mark. The score thus becomes 51-50 in favor of the USSR: it is crowned Olympic champion! The judges will spend one night whole on the complaint at once posed by the Americans, but anything made there. The Americans did not seek their money medal.
