Basilidès

Basilidès was a Byzantine, collaborator civil servant of the Emperor Justinien.

Its origins are unknown. Having received the dignity of Patrice into 528, he exerted the many ones and important functions:

prefect of the Court of the East in 528,
Member of the Commission Tribonien charged to establish the Code of Justinien,
prefect of the Court of Illyrie of 529 with 531,
vice-Master of the Offices in 531 - 532,
questeur of the Palate Crowned in 534 - 535,
main of the Offices of 536 with 539.
