Basile and Boniface

Basile and Boniface ( Br' er Fox & Br' er Bear in VO) are characters of fiction of the universe Disney created in 1945 by Bill Walsh and Paul Murry for the studios Disney.

Inspired by the characters of the Tales of the Uncle Rémus (Bruise Uncle Remus off) of Joel Chandler Harris published between 1880 and 1905, they appeared for the first time the October 14th 1945 in a series of Comic strip S weekly, thus preparing the exit in November 1946 of the feature film Mélodie of the South .

Irreducible enemies of Bibi Rabbit (" Br' er Rabbit" in VO), they integrated thereafter the universe of Donald Duck through the stories of Tic and TAC or the Castors Juniors. In search of a bad blow to be always made, they join another " regularly; méchant" forest: Large Wolf.
