It was about a match between a selection of the players of the League National and the club of White Socks of Boston. In 1914, two formations of MLB clash in friendly match with Paris: New York Giants and Boston Red Sox.

The first French club is created in 1913 with Paris: Ranelagh baseball club. Baseball is practiced since this date in a continuous way in the Hexagon. The collective memory however keeps of it only few traces because of dismantling of the bases of NATO in 1966.
