Baryon xi

The baryon xi (noted Ξ, according to the Greek letter Xi) is the name given to a family of Baryon, a particle of the Physique of the particles.

Properties

Baryon Ξ is a combination of three Quark S of which one at least is a quark strange . The family consists of four different particles which are characterized by the two other quarks which compose it: one of these quarks is a quark up or down , the other a quark charm or one 2nd quark strange . The total load of the baryon is the sum of the loads of its quarks:

There exist also four antiparticles having a load opposed for each Ξ, and made up of the antiquarks corresponding.
