Bartsia alpina
Bartsia alpina , the Bartsie of the Alps , is a hairy hardy perennial of the family of the Scrophulariaceae , or Orobanchaceae according to phylogenetic classification.
Characteristics
- It measures between 10 to 30 cm
- One finds it in the meadow, the rocky rocks and places
- It is located between 1300 and 1830m altitude
This very parasitic species for certain herbaceous plants, is made up of a simple and broken into leaf drawn up stem. These flowers of a very dark crimson, pubescent, bilabiées and with opened throat, measurement approximately two centimetres.
One recognizes this species with these flowers in bunches with cheesecloths poliues and woolly which are closed again on the upper lip.
