Bartolomeo Rastrelli

Francesco Bartolomeo Rastrelli , born with Paris in 1700 and died in Saint-Pétersbourg in 1771, is an Italian architect which made all its career in Russia.

Wire of Carlo Bartolomeo Rastrelli, him also architect and sculptor at the court of Russia, it develops on late style baroque rather easily recognizable, before being dismissed by Catherine II which finds its style too old-fashioned.
