Bartolomeo Colomb

Bartolomeo Colomb (Bartolomé Colón in Castilian) (about 1461 with Genoa - 1515) is an younger brother of Christophe Colomb.

It accompanies his brother at the time of its fourth voyage. It renders great services to him: it is him which conquers most of the island of Hispaniola and directs the foundation of Saint-Domingue.

His/her Christophe brother named St. Bartholomew's Day Massacre in his honor.

With Venetian the Alessandro Zorzi, he is the author of the Cartes of Bartolomeo Colomb, which describe explorations of Colomb and their estimates on the position of the grounds discovered.
