Bartolomeo Cesi
Bartolomeo Cesi (Bologna, 1556-1629) is an Italian painter Baroque of the school bolonaise.
Biography
Resulting from a rich family of Bologna, he studies with Giovanni Francesco Bezzi ( it Nosadella ).To Bologna, it contributes to work of Duomo, Santo Stefano and the basilica of San Domenico. He collaborates with Lodovico Carracci and Prospero Fontana on some projects. Its pious pictorial sobriety was influenced by its friendship with the cardinal Gabriele Paleotti of Bologna.
