Its family

Barthélemy Dominique Jacques de Castelbajac is resulting from a family of the old nobility of the province of Bigorre (evidence of nobility 1380). The village of Castelbajac, stronghold of its family, is located close to the town of Lannemezan (department of the Hautes-Pyrénées). Several of its ancestors were knights, seneshals and governors of Bigorre, men of war and officers in the armies.

His/her father carries the Titer of courtesy marquis. One of his/her brothers is magistrate, president of room at the Court of Toulouse at the XIXe century.

Its military career
