Bartabas

Bartabas (born on June 2nd, 1957), of its true name Clement Marty, is a French rider, adjuster of horses and choreographer of equestrian spectacles. It makes dance the horses and transforms them into true actors of spectacles of great notoriety. He is also film producer.

Zingaro

Noticed in 1977 within the framework of the festival off of Avignon, it creates in 1984 the equestrian theater Zingaro (Italian gypsy). Zingaro was the name of the black horse (clippings), fetish of the troop, which is almost exclusively female.

In 1989 the Zingaro theater settles in the Fort of Aubervilliers where it creates many spectacles:

The Bartabas last June 3rd and 6th organized the spectacle " to raise soleil" in Morocco in the town of Fès with its Caravage horse and two celebrates musicians been enough Turks Nezih Uzel and Kutsi Erguner. This spectacle is the second with the same musicians, unrolled in June 2006 in Paris in the gardens of Trifle.

Academy of the equestrian spectacle

Since 2002, it directs the academy of the equestrian spectacle to Versailles of which the ambition is to create a teaching framing in order to ensure the transmission of the knowledge raising the equestrian discipline the row of Article.

It recently organized two spectacles within the framework of the gardens of Versailles:

  • the Knight of St George, an African at the court , work inspired by the life of Joseph of Bologna (December 25th, 1745 - June 10th, 1799), violonist and type-setter
  • Voyage to the Gallant Indies , work inspired of the life of Rene Madec, which closes on a piece of the of the same opera name of Rameau.

Films carried out for the cinema

  • 1993 : Mazeppa which tells the life of the painter Theodore Géricault and of the equestrian Master Franconi.

  • 1996 : Chamane which tells the long epopee with horse of escaped of the Gulag through the Taiga.
