Barry Kitson

Barry Kitson is a Dessinateur of Comics working especially for Marvel Comics and cd. Comics.

Beginnings

From 1985 to 1986, it illustrates many stories of the magazine 2000AD while begin with Future Shock (written by Grant Morrison) and while finishing by the adventures of the Judge Anderson (written by Alan Grant). Afterwards, It draws a few series for Marvel the U.K. (Spider-Man, Transformers) then two numbers of Wolverine (#28 and 29 of (vol.II) of August 1990).

Its career at cd. Comics

Then, Barry Kitson works, until 2007, for the publisher cd. Comics while starting by illustrating Catwoman in Action Comics Weekly (although having already carried out the Batgirl Special 1 in 1988). Then, it draws the major characters of cd. who are Batman (in various series) and Superman ( Adventures off Superman #505-520 ). It spends two years and half on Azrael (#1-30), character who replaces one moment Bruce Wayne as Batman when it with the spinal column broken, before realizing in 1998-1999, twelve numbers of the mini-series JLA: Year One which reactualizes the origins of the famous team of Super-héros.

Supergirl and the Legion off Super-Heroes & The Order

In 2004, Barry Kitson and Mark Waid take again in hand the Légion of the Supermen (Legion off Super-Heroes) to produce his third incarnation, i.e. to re-examine and correct of it the whole of the characters and the framework in which the latter evolve/move; especially following the upheavals caused by the Infinity Crisis. With the arrival of Supergirl to the #16 , the series becomes Supergirl and the Legion off Super-Heroes . The Kitson/Waid tandem ends with the #30 (July 2007) when our draftsman leaves to Marvel Comics in order to occupy himself, with Matt Fraction, of the Californian team of superman The Order (the Ordre (comics) in VF). It is it should be noted that it had already occasionally to draw the legionaries in a few preceding series ( Legion off Super-Heroes year 8 & L.E.G.I.O.N. ).
