Baroreceptor

The baroreceptor , in cardiac physiology, is a Récepteur present in the elastic layer of fabric of the Blood-vessels. They are sensitive to the blood pressure (by measurement of the stretching of the wall), and are thus used to control this one via the ways Orthosympathique S and Parasympathique S.

They are found mainly on the level of the Sinus carotidien, the aortic Crosse and the right auricle of the Cœur.

The baroreceptor, sensitive to the pressure and heat, also intervenes in the mechanism of the pain.
