Barnabites
The Barnabites are an religious order founded in 1530 with Milan in Italy by Antoine-Marie Zaccaria (born in 1502 in Crémone in Italy, deceased in 1539).
Constantly animated by the love of the poor, Antoine-Marie Zaccaria becomes initially doctor, then priest. He settles in Milan and founds the Regular Clercs of Saint Paul, subjected to wishes, but alive in the world, in order to " to record the Christian standard of living and to provide by all the means for the needs for the abandoned hearts "
They were called Barnabites because the center of their activities was held in the cloister of the church Saint Barnabe in Milan. They are devoted to the parochial ministry, with the education of youth, preaching, the missions. They make wish not seek dignities of the Church.
Antoine-Marie Zaccaria also founded the Sœurs from Saint Paul.
They founded colleges in Italy, in Spain, Austria, Bohemia and France.

At the XIXè century, they existed in France, in Italy, in Spain and Belgium.
Currently, they have parishes in Ontario in Canada and the USA, in the state of New York, in Pennsylvania and California.
