the castle of BarlyThe castle was probably built between 1782 and 1784 per Vindicien-Antoine Blin, former captain with the regiment of Rohan. And the interior construction alteration work of the dependences was continued until 1794 by his/her son, Jean Vindicien Blin de Varlemont. This one remained in Barly during the Revolution, and, of 1812 to 1818, placed the castle at the disposal of the bishop of Arras, Mgr of the Tower of Auvergne, during the summer.
After his death, in 1832, his/her son sold the castle with the countess of Tramecourt, which bequeathed it in 1879 to the marquis of Luart. M.Duhem had it of 1914 to 1937. Occupied by the armies at the time of the last war, it was in fort bad condition when it was acquired in 1970 by the count Jacques d' Antin de Vaillac, who ensures his restoration with the assistance of the Historic buildings.
