Barcarolle

The barcarolle is a musical Forme vocal or instrumental of ternary measurement (6/8, 9/8 or 12/8) with an accompaniment rythmiquement uniform, evoking the slow movement of a Barque. Indeed, in the beginning, the barcarolle was the song of the Venetian gondoliers.
