Barbican guifsobalito

The Barbican guifsobalito ( Lybius guifsobalito ) is a bird of the family of the Capitonidae.

Description

It is a black bird whose face, throat and upper part of the chest are of a bright red. It presents fine yellow lines on the top of the wings. The nozzle is strong and black.

Statute and safeguarding

This bird is classified by IUCN in category LLC (minor concern) because of importance of its surface of distribution, and its population which currently seems in growth.
