Bannack (Montana)
Bannack , Montana, with the the United States, is a phantom Ville ( Ghost Town in English) founded in 1862. Named according to Bannock, a Indian Tribe local, it was the site of the first principal mine of Or of the Montana. It was used as Capitale of the Montana in 1864, until is the Ville of Virginia. Bannack then continued like mining Ville, but with a less and less many Population. The last inhabitants left in the Années 1970. It is currently preserved in the Bannack State Park.
The maximum number inhabitants was of 3000 people. There were three hotels, three bakeries, three blacksmiths, two stables, two butcheries, a grocer, a Restaurant, a Brasserie, a hall of Billard, and four saloons.
According to a Legend, the Sheriff of Bannack, Henry To pluck, was the chief of a fatal band responsible for a hundred crimes. 22 men were however hung for their supposed crimes.
Sixty historical notations and structures of reinforcement remain being held in Bannack, much very well-preserved; more can be explored. The site is enumerated as limits national historical limit. The city is currently the site of the park of state of Bannack.
